BREAKERBOX SOCIETY™ of the (BIP-Breakerbox Institute Project™) was formed in 1991 by the founding global commissioner & chief social scientist+principal producer- Commissioner Don Stormy L. Carbajal™ of BSLTD™ and began as a multimedia underground collective run by volunteer music & media producers, entertainment marketing consultants, djs, street art enthusiasts and independent artists harnessing the electric energies of music, technology & global urban youth culture infused with socially-charged cause-related entertainment lifestyle & cultural campaigns & event experiences as a massive electric movement for helping build & elevate the social & cultural landscapes of OKC & other underserved communities across the globe for future generations.

 

After years of going back & forth to Cali/NYC/Miami/TX for business dealings in the entertainment industries (music/film/tours/corp brands), now back in Oklahoma City permanently, Commissioner Don Stormy Carbajal™ was finding that most of his "INDUSTRY' Friends (of BREAKERBOX SOCIETY™) had relocated across the globe in efforts of securing 'INDUSTRY Work"  which left a major hole in the entertainment scene of Oklahoma.

 

Commissioner Don Stormy Carbajal™ also found that there were rarely any-to-no "INDUSTRY" opportunities in OKLAHOMA and fewer "INDUSTRY" Resource Associations and/or Outlets for those wanting to establish and/or explore career options in the entertainment industries. 

 

So Commissioner Don Stormy. L. Carbajal™ of Breakerbox Society™ created the P2BP CAMPUS TOUR+LECTURE SERIES in 1996 with a former JIVE RECORDS A&R rep & vocal coach, and then established TEAMBREAKERBOX® in 1998. 

 

TEAMBREAKERBOX® evolved from an underground inter-media collective, into a global 501c3 creative arts foundation. Over the years,  some of Don Stormy Carbajal's "INDUSTRY" Friends returned to OKC and some still travel to other domestic & foreign locations for jobs while remaining dedicated to empowering the OKC creative communities & entertainment cultures.

 

So Commissioner Don Stormy Carbajal™ re-activated

(Breakerbox Society™ as "BGX™") as a global creative ambassador +cultural xchange network including;

• a growing global street arts collective+association (bgsac™) headquartered in OKC,OK encompassing;  5 USA ambassador teams, and 4 int'l teams strategically positioned & charged with

• co-producing disruptive creative programming/parties/galas/festivals (BMSAF-BFTX™),

• curating jam sessions+concerts (RTBW SOUNDSTAGE SESSIONS™,

• making documentaries/films (RTBW DGTL MAG+TV™)

• and everything in between for helping to empower+celebrate the creative cultures across the globe & utilizing the powers of music & technology for providing opportunities for the at-risk youth & creative entrepreneurs to empower their lives & change the world.

 

TEAMBREAKERBOX® develops synergistic relationships with other like-minded non-profits and non-traditional venues (locally & across the globe) for executive producing & curating (as part of our [BFTX™] Festival Tour Xperiences™) an annual series of socially-charged cause-related VIP music lifestyle entertainment events & media programming such as;

• VIP after work social sets & workshops,

• social awareness campaign programming (cancer & aids awareness/anti drugs/anti bullying),

• multimedia social empowerment campaigns (on & offline),

• and also other powerful larger VIP event platforms/experiences that effectively help to connect & celebrate the creative cultures & empower the cultural lifestyle habits of the tastemaker socialites & young influencer professionals. These platforms include, but are not limited to;
